Environmental Stewardship

  • A core principle driving my work is to improve habitats and preserve ecosystems.

We share our properties with organisms of all sizes and my goal is provide a happy healthy space for homeowners and wildlife to share.

  • We have committed to replacing gas powered tools with electric as they come due for replacement.

By using electric tools we reduce noise pollution, carbon emissions and accidental fuel spills.

  • By buying materials locally and not in plastic bags from plastic wrapped pallets I am able to reduce the use of single use plastics.

I always aim to reduce, reuse and repair as to minimize plastic waste and waste in general.

  • As clean water becomes more and more rare, it is important to be thoughtful of what we put into our soil. They say green lawns make green ponds - for this reason I prefer permaculture over miracle. grow.

I have also been trained in ways to slow the flow to allow infiltration and filtering of runoff before it enters our lakes and streams.

  • As a NH Natural Resource Steward I committed 40 hours a year to volunteer work. Please reach out with volunteer opportunities.
